Lead Operator
Caledonia, WI
Shifts: Second & Third
Reports to: Division Manager
The Opportunity:
Gypsoil Blendable, LLC is a new fertilizer company, wholly owned by Beneficial Reuse Management. Our innovative sulfur-based product(s) help fertilizer dealers conveniently and profitably provide their customers with healthier soils, higher yields and bigger profits.
We are opening our second manufacturing facility in Caledonia, WI in December 2017. There are plans in the works to add an additional three facilities across the Midwest over the several years.
Gypsoil Blendable, LLC is looking for team players who can get excited about building something great. Our product is the best sulfur source for ag retailers, and our manufacturing capabilities need to be just as good. This is truly a team environment, where we are all committed to success. You will work hard, but the opportunity for growth and additional income is real.
We need factory associates to serve as Lead Operators for Second and Third Shifts. The job duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensuring production quota is met
2. Supervision of 2-3 Operators and Material Handlers per shift
3. Supervising quality control program
4. Loading, unloading and processing of raw materials and finished goods
5. Production line start-up, shut-down and cleanout
6. Facility maintenance
Compensation:
1. $17.00 per hour, with 50% overtime bonus for weekly hours over 40
2. Potential for year-end bonus
3. Other benefits include:
a. Paid vacation
i. 2 weeks in years 0-4
ii. 3 weeks in years 5-9
iii. 4 weeks in years 10+
b. Partially subsidized company health, dental, vision and life insurance beginning on day 1. While benefits are subject to change annually, the company has traditionally paid 75% of the cost of health insurance from Blue Cross & Blue Shield (See 2014 premium sheet)
4. 401K with company matching 100% of employee contributions up to 3% of total earnings
Requirements:
1. Team player with HS Diploma or equivalent
2. Manufacturing experience
3. Familiarity with heavy equipment and at least 2 years work experience
4. Ability to lift 50 pounds, pass physical and drug screening
